Happy Valentines Day!!!

Whuttup, Whuttup, Whuttup!!!  So this Valentines Day I have a slew of great things for you to check out (New S&S Podcast, Valentines Archive from TODAY) along with my usual recycle of Adam’s World Blog, with this one being about the closing of a great NYC Hip-Hop staple event A MONTHLY BONDFIRE…sadly my usual V-day mix will be up a bit later this week, but it is going to BANG.  Let’s get down to brass tax shall we?

Brand New Subways & Sidewalks Podcast Featuring HW

Recorded in early December, I was waiting for this day to unleash the hilarity and sadness of what we did here…ALL UNRELEASED EXCLUSIVES from HW’s upcoming album ‘Wallpaper Exit Wounds’ plus a special live track that was written that day!  Can it get better?  Well yes, if you have a date and someone to share the podcast with, but hey sometimes life don’t cut that way…C’est La Vie.  Click the cover art above, the link HERE to download or stream live @  Shouts to Flash for putting up with my nonsense!!!

Valentine’s Day Spectacular on WPKN

Had a rare chance to be on-air for Valentine’s Day and FUNraising…how could the stars have aligned like this?  Well they did and a great show was done of all songs I feel express to true nature of love which is a painful (beautifully so) event no matter how you dice it.  Take a listen and ENJOY!!!

Mornings on WPKN Valentine’s Day Spectacular

Tuesday is Recycling Day and I Looooove Recycling

For nearly half a decade Bondfire has been providing unforgettable moments, and a great proving ground, for music fans and artists alike, every last Tuesday of the month at the Bowery Poetry Club in NYC. The event, however, is going to end its four and a half year run on February 28th.

Much more than just another NYC open mic, Bondfire has been a unique artist-driven community, and its stage has witnessed the growth of many talented acts. Artists including Tah Phrum Duh Bush, iAreConscious, and PremRock went from rocking the Bondfire stage to touring overseas. Homeboy Sandman went from the Bondfire stage to signing a deal with Stones Throw Records. Countless other artists saw their YouTube views go from the hundreds to the thousands. There was the night the legendary Kool Herc came through to enjoy the show and give words of encouragement. The Bondfire community also came together when a non-regular swiped co-host Tasty Keish’s laptop, raising the money to get her a new one. This is why, even though it was billed as an open mic (or, in Bondfire terminology, a “mic open”) with main event acts, emcee Warren Britt, who has been a mainstay at the show, has another way to describe Bondfire – “it was family.” To read the whole article visit Adam’s World Blog

Thugg Thursday…

Yo, Yo, Yo!  Almost working for the weekend and whatknot right (I like aliteration, sue me).  Have some great vids to share, a flyer for an upcoming gig, a link to my most recent archive on and lots of other nonsense to waste your day till the clock says it’s time to go home.  Word UP…or Down.

Geto Boys – Bring It On

This week’s thugg pick is an old school track that is totally without a doubt ahhhmazing, hilarious and dope all rolled into one 8 min posse cut opus with every gangster rapper from the 91-94 era ever on it (sorry MC Eight, ya didn’t make it on there).  It’s Bring It On by the Geto Boys and I’ll just let the video speak for itself…

I wake up every morning screaming ‘Somebody Slaughter Me!”

Cassettes Won’t Listen – Into The Hillside

Official video from the homie who is currently one half of The Freeze Tag and killing it on his own with the new album Kevinspacey.  This is my favorite track from his slept on instrumental only album released about two years ago.  Enjoy!

The Freeze Tag – The Hustle

Speaking of The Freeze Tag, here is the first video in the series that follows the adventures of ‘Hamster Kid’ though his adventure throughout the record titled with his namesake.  Ahhmazingly smooth visuals in this video, I am sure the series will be popping up again…

I.E. Merge – DMC World Finals Routine 2004

For all my Turntablist nerds!  This is probably the best routine I have ever seen, very clean, well paced, rhythmic, just incredible…Peep game!

A Midsummer Night’s Dream W/DJ HALO

Ohh Snap!  Fun times will be had @ Soda Bar Brooklyn on this evening!  FB Invite coming soon.  I just really like the moon and stars so I thought I would share with you…sue me.

This Week’s Mornings On WPKN Archive

The archive of my show on WPKN this week ft. guest hostess with mostest Beka Foley and an interview with Archie Bang to boot…Enjoy!

Whuttup, Whuttup!!!  Here is the Six Feet Deep Podcast for you…no Hour segments though.  It will update as time goes by, to be hour segment zips with playlists, but for now, you are stuck with a 167MB file.  Download it here or click the flyer…

Friday Treat…WPKN Morning Show Podcasts!!!

Hellooooo Cleveland!!!   So I have been in hiatus as of recent times mostly because last week (if you checked my live dates page) I was crazy busy and had no time.  Also, I have been rolling around how I want to proceed with adding content to this site.  Big Decisions, I know…considering as how all I do is post live mixes and call that content…but whatever.  In any case, I have begun the painstaking process of editing my Morning Show and Six Feet Deep recordings to be ready for easily digestible hour long podcast posts for download.  These will change over time to become a zip file which includes a playlist doc as well, but for now you’ll just get the edited audio…pfff!!!  Hey it’s hard pouring through all this audio and prepping it for the web…really???  I’d like to see you do it…So here are two episodes of my Morning Show on WPKN; one is in it’s entirety and the other is broken into 3 hour segments (yes, like most things I do, I thought of the hour segments as I was prepping the audio for the second episode…dang!  So many questions today sheesh…).  Click on the flyer or the link here
