Sorry y’all! I got back from tour on Saturday and have been sick since then. I’m on the mend now, thanks for asking. That said, this episode was shot at The Paramount LA on the Punk Rap Tour. There is some overlap in terms of tracks. I used selections from the playlists of episodes 1-4 to create a playlist for sets on tour. Still, none are mixed with the same material as earlier videos.
All of that being said, this video is 65 min of me catching wreck on the REV5. I loved every minute of it. These videos are getting close to an overall sound I have had in my mind for a long time now. It has been blurry and hard to reach in the past. But I feel it’s coming into focus and bloody hell it’s about time. As always lots of remixes and remixing, using stems, FX, etc. to obfuscate the original material and create a new context to show it in. None are done as well as the first track. I provided my help on it. It is a cover of Ghetto Bastard by Canadian Rapper Decisive from Naughty By Nature. Holy smokes does he make that song exactly as I have heard it in my heart for a long time. Enjoy the mix.
